Situated on the northern tip of Chief’s Island is where you’ll find Little Mombo, meaning ‘place of plenty’ and it certainly lives up to its name. The accommodation at Little Mombo consists of just four ultra-luxury tents, making for a more intimate setting.  Enjoy your sumptuous king size bed draped in netting, opulent soft furnishings and elegant fittings along with a lounge area.  The en-suite facilities include both indoor and outdoor showers, beautiful copper bathtubs and double vanities.

 

Step out into your very own private viewing deck and take in the views of the floodplains beyond.  Your deck includes a plunge pool and open-air lounge area and private sala.

The facilities on offer at Little Mombo includes a fire pit with cozy seating, the perfect spot for pre-dinner drinks.  A number of locations are used for dining including the viewing deck and traditional boma for dining under the African stars.

 

Guests can choose to spend their ‘down time’ either in the fully equipped gym, which includes a pool, at the spa where you can enjoy a variety of treatments or on the yoga deck with the camp’s fully qualified yoga instructor.

The Okavango Delta offers guests an opportunity to explore the wild bush of Africa in the experienced hands of highly qualified guides. 

 

Game drives are conducted on Chief’s Island in the morning and early evening when the predators are active in purpose built open game drive vehicles specially designed for traversing both the bush and the Delta waters.
